I have decided to start a blog for those family members and friends who don't live near us. I think this way I can let everyone know how things are going at once, and not have to repeat myself a billion times. :) So I hope everyone enjoys reading a little about our daily lives, and this can make you feel a little closer to us!
Well I (Kyanna) am continuing my degree in Criminal Justice with the University of Phoenix Online. It has been extremely difficult keeping up with school, and dealing with the loss of my brother in early July of this year. I keep going forward because I know it's the best for our family in the long run, and he would be proud of me.
Zaiyan is 3 now and is always on the move, he is constantly learning new things and asking many questions. He is a very bright child, sometimes too bright for his own good :) We enjoy watching him grow, and we are very excited for this summer when he will be starting little league. In August he will turn four and start preschool here at the local elementary school. He is so very excited to ride the school bus, and talks about it all the time. He knows his colors, most shapes, letters and numbers. He loves to learn and I am happy to oblige. He is extremely excited for Christmas and talks about Santa all the time, but when it came down to having his picture with Santa this year he was having none of it. He told me that Santa looked creepy. :)
Matt has been working for Fred Meyers for two and a half years now, and is ready to move on to school. We are hoping to get him in for the Spring Quarter at the Community College here in Kenai, Ak. He would like to go to train as a Paramedic. We are all so excited for us to be embarking on this next stage in our lives.
This year we moved to a new house on 5 acres, and LOVE it! We added a new family member and he is a long hair miniature dachshund named Deucy. So we now have two dogs (Loki and Deucy) , and are adding another miniature dachshund in January (a little wirehair girl named Stella).

Love your new blog site here, and will definitely be a "follower". Your family picture here is really good. I will enjoy keeping up with the Germann Family; this is such a good idea. Thanks for thinking of all of us who live far away and love being part of your family activities across the miles. Will miss you all this Christmas, but so glad you're all together & that your Dad's surgery is behind him. Take care..we love you all!
